Case Assessment/Case Management
Initial and ongoing case management is provided to clients in order
to assist in finding the services most needed for each situation.

Counseling
Phone and personal counseling services are offered for the
caregiver, family members, and victims of Alzheimer's Disease.

In-Home Respite Care by
Trained Volunteers
A trained volunteer may be assigned for as little as one hour or up to six
hours each week.  The time and amount of services are based on the
needs of caregivers and the availability of volunteers

Volunteer Training
At least three training programs a year are conducted for respite care
volunteers.

Quarterly volunteer group meetings are held for feedback and in-service
training.

Caregiver Education
"Powerful Tools for Caregivers"
A six part educational program for family caregivers of
adults.  A major objective of the curriculum is to empower
caregivers to take better care of themselves.

Annual Conference - Spring of each year
Conference organized in conjunction with the Florida
State University College of Medicine and the Neuroscience Center of
Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare.

Annual Caregiver Retreat - September of each year
An opportunity for caregivers to take time off and educate themselves on
how to become more effective caregivers by learning to take better care of
themselves.  Professional panelists, speakers, and subjects.

Project Lifesaver
A reliable and pro-active rescue program for wandering
victims of Alzheimer's Disease,related memory
disorders, Down's Syndrome, and Autism.


Rural Area Support Groups
Support groups are facilitated in Gadsden, Jefferson, Jackson, and Wakulla
Counties.
