On March 7, 2008, The Alzheimer’s Project, Inc. will be hosting its Annual “Leading the Way” Gala at the Florida State University’s University Center Club. This celebration has become one of our city’s most anticipated philanthropic events. The purpose of this gala is to not only provide our supporters with a festive evening of delicious food and wonderful entertainment, but to remind our community that it has the ability to make a positive impact in the lives of others. The Alzheimer’s Project, Inc. was established in 1991 to serve the needs of caregivers of persons with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia disorders. It continues today serving this mission by offering programs to caregivers at no cost to them. As the rate of Alzheimer’s disease dramatically increases, the Project remains in our community helping people in their most desperate times of need. I encourage you to carefully review the accompanying information contained in this folder, and then I humbly request you consider making a contribution or becoming a sponsor at one of the “Leadership Opportunity” levels to help those in need.
