The Annual Alzheimer's Disease Education
and Training Conference is an opportunity
for the entire community to learn more
about Alzheimer's disease and any updates
that will be coming out. Professional and
Caregiver Tracks are available to the public
and there is no cost for the event, unless
seeking CEUs. The 2012 Event is
scheduled for Saturday, February 11, 2012
from 8 am - 3 pm.
CEUs are available for NHA, Nursing,
LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, OT, SLP and
Audiology. If you have any questions or
would like to register, please contact our
office.
The Annual "Forget Me Not Walk" is a
fundraiser event for the Alzheimer's
Project. This is a family friendly event that
celebrates caregivers and those they care
for. A wonderful opportunity for
fellowship, food, entertainment, fun and
games. ALL FUNDS RAISED STAY LOCAL!

The 7th Annual ParrotHead Phrenzy is a benefit concert for
Alzheimer's Project. This year's event will be on Saturday,
June 11, 2011 from 6 pm - 10 pm at The Moon.
The Tallahassee Parrothead Club likes to "party with a
purpose." This event will have you eating some delicious food,
bidding on fantastic silent auction items, and listening and
dancing to some great music! Stop on by and join this wacky
party!

The most recent Annual Big Bend
Caregiver Celebration Day was held on
Friday September 23, 2011!
The event had health screenings available
and included: Bone Density, Blood Sugar,
Stroke, Hearing and Balance and Vision.
Massages and Manicures were also
available!
Entertainment included the return of our
Belly Dancers from the Coast!
The entire event is FREE for everyone. If

attend the 2011 Caregiver Forum please

Remember to keep your Friday's in
September open this year, as this is
usually a day the event is held.
A premier fundraising event to benefit
persons with Alzheimer's disease or
related disorders and their caregivers.
The event includes an enormous silent
auction, delicious dinner, award
ceremony, music and dancing. Invitations
