The annual Big Bend Caregiver Forum was
held on Friday September 25, 2009 and
was a wonderful opportunity for
community partnership to showcase how
affective it can be.
Health Screenings were provided and
included: Bone Density, Blood Sugar,
Stroke, Hearing and Balance and Vision.

We also had several massage therapists
available to give free 15 minutes
massages as well as manicurists available
for free manicures.

We were also entertained by the
Tallahassee Parkinson's Support Group
Choir, motivational speaker Don Rapp and
the Red Hat Society of Bay County
provided us with a wonderful segment of
Belly Dancing. Music was also provided
during lunch by Dr. Larry Gerber.

The entire event was FREE for everyone.

The Annual Alzheimer's Disease Education
and Training Conference is an opportunity
for the entire community to learn more
about Alzheimer's disease and any updates
that will be coming out. Professional and
Caregiver Tracks are available to the public
and there is no cost for the event, unless
seeking CEU/CMEs. For more information

The 5th Annual Parrothead Phrenzy presented by the
Tallahassee Parrothead was held on Saturday, June
27, 2009.

The Tallahassee Parrothead Club is an organization
that loves to party with a purpose. Each year they have
several events that supports local organizations. For
