Alzheimer's disease touches everyone. In the Big Bend alone over 4000 families
are affected. Every seventy seconds someone is diagnosed with the disease. If
you don’t know someone who has been touched by Alzheimer’s, you will. We want
to be there to help, but in order to do so, Alzheimer’s Project, Inc. needs your help.
Begun as a mission of Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church in 1991, Alzheimer’s
Project, Inc. became an independently funded agency in 2002 and a United Way
of the Big Bend agency in 2007. Depending on grants and private donations, we
provide all services free of charge to our clients. All funds raised stay local and
help support families in need.
