| The Alzheimer's Project is a non-profit organization funded by grants and private donations. The Project is dedicated to providing relief to the caregivers of persons suffering from Alzheimer's Disease or other memory impairment. ALL services available to the caregivers are provided FREE of charge. The goal of the Project is to keep the caregivers healthier, both physically and emotionally, to prolong the abilities of the caregiver, and to delay institutionalization of the patient. |

affected. Every seventy seconds someone is diagnosed with the disease. If you
don’t know someone who has been touched by Alzheimer’s, you will. We want to
be there to help, but in order to do so, The Alzheimer’s Project, Inc. needs your
help.
Begun as a mission of Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church in 1991, The
Alzheimer’s Project, Inc. became an independently funded agency in 2002 and a
United Way of the Big Bend agency in 2007. Depending on grants and private
donations, we provide all services free of charge to our clients.
